Horse Dayz: NaNoWriMo!!!!!! Part 4

Yes, I know I'm way ahead of myself, but I simply couldn't resist -- I made an outline of my story! Here is the results of two days' and four pages' effort.

I. Characters {Main}

A. Maci Jackson {14 yrs old}

1. Tall, with long brown hair and icy blue eyes

2. Kind yet tough, with not a single graceful bone in her body

3. Grew up around horses, on a farm; has a horse named Fin

4. Is friends with very few people - doesn't trust easily

B. Bo Diamond {14 yrs old}

1. Tallish, with shaggy black hair and forest green eyes

2. A good, hard-working boy; Maci's neighbor and best guy friend

3. Has his own horse, Jo

4. Is in love with Maci, but afraid to tell her

5. Barrel races in his spare time; going to watch Maci in GPBR

C. Joseph Diamond {52 yrs old}

1. Short, stout with very little hair, has green eyes

2. Tough, gruff, loves to tease anyone and everyone

3. Has a ranch full of horses; breeds, breaks, trains and shows his horses (Friesian's and QH's)

4. Is very loyal to his wife, Amy Diamond

D. Max Jackson

1. Maci's dad; the only parental figure in her life

2. Tall, with black hair cropped short; blue eyes

3. Sweet but tough, very loving

4. Has a horse of his own, Finish Line (Fin's sire)

5. His wife died 5 months ago from brain cancer

E. Joni Hart {14 yrs old}

1. As tall as Maci, with short blonde hair; blue eyes

2. Sweet with a kind heart; friends with everyone

3. Has a palomoino mare named Baby; barrel races

4. Is going to GPBR with Maci, her best friend

5. Is going to be a competitor in GPBR

II. Horses {Main}

A. Joseph's Big Heart {Bo's horse} {10 yrs old}

1. Bay QH gelding

2. Very feisty - too much go, not enough woah

3. Barrel racer; fast and furious

4. AKA "Jo"

B. Make It Fine {Maci's horse} {6 yrs old}

1. Red roan QH mare

2. Gentle but fast - compliant and easy to handle

3. World champion barrel racing material; going to GPBR

4. AKA "Fin"

C. Finish Line {Max's horse} {18 yrs old}

1. Pitch black QH stud; Fin's sire

2. Halfway crazy - full of spirit

3. ranch horse, 3-time GPBR champion, now retired and works as a ranch horse

4. AKA "Ra"

D. Knight Hawk II {Joseph's} {12 yrs old}

1. Dark black Friesian stud

2. Feisty yet respectful; well-trained as a ranch horse for Joseph

3. Work horse, accomplished halter hrose

4. AKA "Hawk"

E. Big Bad Triple P {Joni's horse} {6 yrs old}

1. Palomino QH mare, Fin's 1/2 sister (same sire, dams were sisters)

2. Very fast, almost uncontrollable - hard to handle; Joni is the only one who has control over her

3. Ready to go to GPBR w/Maci and Fin

4. AKA "Baby"

F. Gone Make It Work {Joseph's horse} {20 yrs old}

1. Red roan QH mare; Fin's dam

2. Calm, easy going - too much woa

3. Famous western pleasure turned barrel racing horse

4. AKA Maddie

Well? Thoughts? That was just the character and horse part, but I'm going to map out a bit about Fin's injury, which could require some research. Oh, well, this shall be fun anyways! Now, who'd like to see some reference photos*? (Courtesy of Google)
